Had this board out on multiple terrain today and it was a blast! Awesome control on early season east coast granular and spotty ice. Holds an edge and carves extremely well! The board equipped with good bindings will give you multiple seasons worth of fun.
The Trice/orca gets most of the press but this board is a sleeper in the lib line. It’s so good, and matches my preferred type of riding:all mountain free ride/w some park laps/side hits thrown in. I’ll admit the lower price point made me raise an eyebrow, but this has gotta be the best board (of this type) for under 500.
This board is a ton of fun. Holds an edge really well, floats in deeper snow, good pop and stiffness. Not much to complain about! The graphics aren't my thing, but the board itself makes me not care.
After 30 years riding I can't think of a better, more solid board that I've owned. It turns so well. Whether its big, fast turns or getting quick edge to edge in the park. It's stiff, stable. You land bolts every time. The flex is perfect. It truly is a great aggressive freestyle/freeride board.
This board has so much shape to it that the first time I laid my eyes on it I knew it was the one. If you like a board that rails on the hard pack to slicing threw the pow and powerfully dominated back country to the park then you will love this board.
