ALL MOUNTAIN - DIRECTIONAL

~Travis Rice

Orca Magic

I've been riding since the early nineties. I've owned and ridden countless boards over the decades. Technology didn't really advance much until Lib Tech started trying out different camber profiles, and magne traction is a true game changer! The Orca is the perfect example of this. An out of bounds board that shreds the in bounds. What more can you ask for? Size it down so it is very maneuverable in the trees, it's wide enough to float even through the deepest power stash, but get it on the hard pack and let the serrated steak knife technology carve out some long high speed turns back down to the lift. This board does it all...

Best.board.ever.

As a woman, I could never quite find a "better" board for my size. So I decided to go for the orca (thinking it could work as a unisex board). And I absolutely LOVE it! It's so stable in bumpy conditions, floats over the powder and has amazing grip on ice. It's got quite a pop, and works well in switch. It's a bit "flattery" when going fast, but I can forgive that. I can't wait to take it proper off piste, but so far it has been amazing. 10/10, would by again instantly (and might go for the split, once my current split board is done). Before I wrote Jones, Burton and atomic.

Best board

6’2” and I ride the 159. I worked at a resort and snowboarded everyday for a season. This board increased my confidence going fast as it isn’t chattery and grips so well on turns. Definitely my favorite board I’ve ever owned

As good as it gets.

I know that new gear doesn’t make you better but damn this board makes all conditions and terrain more fun. I haven’t gotten it into proper powder yet and I’m already happy I got it. Ordering my Orca off the Lib-tech site was super easy and it was delivered quickly without any issues. I’m 6’4” 225 and the 159 feels great. I’d be interested to demo other lengths but I’m happy I pulled the trigger on this one.

Feel so good

This is the first new board I have bought in several years. I previously owned an Emma Peel in the early 90's. I ride east coast and midwest resorts, with the occasional trip out west to Vail or Park City. All I can say is that this is the best deck I have ever ridden. I ride groomers, hard pack, ice, etc every day, and this board totally rips. I can carve deeper than ever before, I can go super fast, I can do straight airs off of rollers and hits. This board does it all for me, so far, on groomers. I can't wait to get it into powder soon out west.
